Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics (with an anonymization function). Google Analytics is a web analytics service. Web analysis is the gathering, collection and evaluation of data on the behaviour of visitors to websites. A web analysis service collects personal data about the behaviour of the user of a website, e.g. the website from which a data subject has accessed a website (known as a 'referrer'), which individual pages of the website have been accessed or how often and for how long a page was viewed.

The Google Analytics service is provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA (hereinafter referred to as "Google").

Please note that we use the code extension "gat._anonymizeIp" for web analysis via Google Analytics. With this extension Google truncates and anonymises the IP address of your Internet connection when you access our Internet pages from within the European Economic Area.

The purpose of the Google Analytics component is our legitimate interest in analysing the streams of visitors to our website (Article 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR). Google uses the data and information on our behalf among other things to (i) evaluate the use of our website, (ii) compile reports for us that show the activities on our web pages, and (iii) provide other services in connection with the use of our website. These services are designed to improve our offerings.

Google Analytics places a cookie on your computer. Please refer to Section 6 below for more information about cookies. The cookie allows the use of our website to be analysed. Each time you visit one of the pages of this website, the Internet browser on your computer is automatically prompted by the relevant Google Analytics component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical procedure, Google receives information on our behalf about personal data, such as your IP address, which among other things serves to trace the origin of visitors and clicks.

Cookies are used to store personal information, such as access time, the location from which access was obtained and the frequency of your visits to our website. Each time you visit our website, this personal data, including the IP address of the Internet connection you use, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America. This personal data is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may disclose personal data collected through the technical process to third parties.

Google will process your data on our behalf in accordance with the terms of an order processing contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Said contract allows Google to use subcontractors. A list of these subcontractors (“Subprocessors”) can be found at https://privacy.google.com/businesses/subprocessors/.

The data subject may, at any time, prevent the setting of cookies by our website, as explained in Section 6 below, by adjusting the settings on your Internet browser accordingly, and may thus permanently object to the use of cookies. Setting your Internet browser to reject cookies will also prevent Google from placing a cookie on your computer. Moreover, a cookie already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time using your Internet browser or other software programs.

You can also object to and prevent the collection of data generated by Google Analytics relating to the use of this website and the processing of this data by Google. To do so, you can download a browser add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and install it on your computer. This browser add-on will inform Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data or information on visits to websites may be transmitted to Google Analytics. The installation of the browser add-on is seen by Google as an objection to data transmission. However, if your computer is wiped or formatted or reinstalled at a later time, the browser add-on must be reinstalled to disable Google Analytics. If you uninstall or deactivate the browser add-on, you have the option of reinstalling or reactivating the browser add-on at a later time.

Preventing the use of Google Analytics as described above will have no influence on the usability of our website.

Further information and Google's current privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy/update?hl=en
